I arrived in Miaoli Nanzhuang with the intention of hiking, but the rain during the April Qingming Festival changed my plans. While strolling through the old street, I unexpectedly discovered the Chayuanpingshan Trail behind the mountain. Without thinking twice, I headed into the mountains, assuming that the 322m high hill would only take 30 minutes to reach the summit. However, half an hour passed, and I was still on a forest trail, having strayed far from the first path leading to the top. I didn't mind, thinking I could circle around to another path leading up the mountain, but surprisingly, the trail seemed sparsely populated, and I could no longer discern the path or directions. Moreover, many large trees had fallen, leaving me in a dilemma. As it was approaching 5 pm, I worried whether I could get down the mountain before dark. Just as I was about to give up, I noticed a yellow cloth marker left by other hikers. I could continue on. As I walked, a small animal, whose shape I couldn't see clearly, suddenly ran away in fright ahead. I guessed it was a small wild boar. This made the small forest even more exciting. A dozen minutes later, I finally reached the 322m high Tea Garden Mountain. Without lingering, I rushed down the mountain, taking the first hiking trail I had missed, and walked back to Nanzhuang Old Street, which took more than an hour.
