This US trip, I made a few new American friends. There are brother weng co-colleagues.
They were so thoughtful that invite my family to Intel RB1 head office the next day of the memorial ceremony .  They bought us into the office and show us to Weng's working desk and patiently explained to us about his job role.  They also bought us into the meeting room to give us a very surprise tribute to Weng.  Most of the weng Co colleague all came forward and some ex boss, VP and superior join us in the zoom conference.   We felt so overwhelmed and touched.  This is one of the biggest closure that we finally know what my brother did in the past of 25 years service in the same company.  What I learned that my brother was so humble that his colleague don't even know he was one Singapore National Team of Dragon boat paddler🚣‍♀️

This is the day, one rainy day.

By 2+ we came to the funeral service home at 4815SW Jamieton Road.

8 of us start to mak all setup & necessary arrangement .

The hall is rather small and barely can sit in 30 people. 

Today we finally meet our beloved brother weng and it is really heartbreaking. 

We were overwhelmed to see so many guests turn out , many colleagues from Intel & Nike, brothers & sisters from church and good friends.

Portland US 7-Sep-2023

After 14 hour flight to San Fransico  and 4 hour transit waiting at the airport.  Another short domestic flight of 1.5 hour we finally touched down Portland US.

This is my second visit to Portland after 23 year.  If I remember correctly, my fist visit is year 2000 flying alone to find my brother. 

LO KIT WENG

29-9-2033 Friday

My dear brother Kit Weng was called home  to be with the Lord yesterday morning. He had been unwell for the last couple of days. I would like to think that he  passed on peacefully in his sleep. My siblings & I will be flying over in about a week as the body will be kept for 2 weeks. We just want to be with our sister-in-law & nephew  during this difficult period. Our comfort is that he is now in the presence of the  Lord with no more suffering & pain. We will miss his endless daily devotion texts & his love for us. We last saw him in 2021 when he spent 2 full months with us. He fell ill in Sept 2022 & in fact he just resigned on 11Sept23. He even had plans to come back in 2024. I trust that God has a plan & purpose for his suddden departure. He will be 60 next August. We are still reeling from  shock & pain. Thank you for your concern & prayers

zeeyee's 21st Birthday party

My daughter is celebrating her 21st birthday one month ahead of her actual birthday.  This is because she is leaving to Sweden .

cameron highlands May 2023

During the 9 days travel in Malaysia. We met many nice people giving us advice and help. Also thank you for all services staffs ike the drivers, hotel and restaurant, attraction staff.... everyone is playing a important role to make our travel the most memorable. We ate so surprised that one of the local taxi driver came back to our hotel, bought us a box of premimum Cameron tea. He just said he like us. This is so wonderful and we are thinking to come back again.

9 Day Malaysia land trip

出发了🚋 络於搭上火车重游-个少年时到过的古老小镇怡保. 火牟旅游一直是我的最爱，喜欢那种勇往直前奔驰的感觉也喜欢火车上人人可以隨意走动的自由 ，彷彿可以-直静靜的坐着，看着窗外闪过的景色而我的心也飞起來了@day2

忙

小组內內比较空闲的人应该是我吧!

不知道为什么，忙似乎無法停留在我身上。我不会为学校功课忙，我不会为工作忙，我也不觉得我为家庭忙，这是以前的我。

现在我常常在思考人活着的意义. 我觉得如果我不知道人活着的意义和生命的价值，我会失去目标和方向。即使我很努力的工作，赚很多钱也花很多钱或者我终日無所事事，最终还是一场虚空。

如果我能夠活到80, 现在我快要踏连我人生的第四段也是最后-段路程，我巳经沒有资格浪费生命也不再须要写i論文，我的理想。我现在可以做的就是爰神爱人。也许我将無法读完整本圣经，但我会重复仔细看路加写的24章，认真学习耶苏最后三年的教导，看看自己能夠用20年做多少

Mountain 2023

Sometime I wonder about my passion in climbing and hiking, am I obsessive or trying to show off that I am strong ? But I really enjoy doing it, every trip, be it easy or tough

2023 is a special year to me. First I am turning to 60, the is one big step into my old age era. 2nd, year 2023 us a rabbit year. 

So to mark this tear , I am going to declare year 2023 is a mountain Year for me. My 

focus is climb and hike.





3 teeth

Struggle for a month, finally today 28 March 2023 I step into the dentist room. But I am shockbto gear the dentist said there are total 6 teeth need to extract. OMG, I thought I just have to do it to pull out 3 teeth. But today he only extract my 3 lower teeth *$210.

Not more than 20m8n and very little pain.

2023 Gunung Lambak (2)

My 2nd climb to Gunung Lambak this year. Thank to Tommy, we spend 2 day in the March school holiday visiting our favorite Malaysia town, Kluang. For me, the Gunung Lambak is the hidden Gen and I just can't miss it.

This time, I did another solo climb and is my first time in the late afternoon , AL.ost 5.

The mountain is quiet,not many people. I took the shorter steep ascent. Surprisingly only took me about 50minto reach the summit.

After arrived shortly, another machines man came up the same route. We started chit chat for a while, he told me ge started climbing during the covid pandemic lockdown. Now 

it became he normal outdoor activity.

1998 Singapore Evetest Team

1998 the firzt Singapore team summit mount everest.  I was 35 and 1997 is a special year,  Hong Kong hangover back to China and i was embarked on my himalayas overland trip. My round himalayas started in kunming , tibet, xinjiang, karskoram, pakistan, india and nepal  overland.

Unfortunately , i fell sick in India in dec and i had stop my travrl and rrturn home.

Everst is a legend and dream to me.  So at this timing, our Singaporean fellows summit the top of the world is really meant something to me.  Obvisouly the two climber, Edwin Siew and Khoo swee chiow became my hero.

Climbing evrest is not a dream for me and knowing the two hero is also sound a distance away.

But 22 year later, during the Covid19 pandemic period, i happened to know the two hero and amazinggly the appears in my door step , this us like my everest summit come true. What a wonderful experience to me.

Foong 57 Birthday

This is tbe 4th BBQ and camping at East coast park PIT#69.

TThis is to celebrate Foong 57th birthday 2023 and she is going to camp overnight. And with Teresa , i have to give my respect to them.

The mini BBQ is only our family and 3 guest, Wendy, Teresa and Tommy.

An humble BBQ but with over order food again.
