Night ride to Marina Bay Sand

About 0710pm  i finally met Marcos and Rachel downstairs my flat.  I asked zixu and zeeyee along to meet their cousin the very first time.  Hopefully they can continue to built the family relationship.

Rachel is friendly and outspoken.  Of course she is pretty and zeeyeesure to like her.

I have give them a short brief regard riding in SG and the route we are going to ride. 0740 we hapoy set-off to Marina .

The very first stop is Skyville@Dawson .  This is because I bought marcos there before and he is glad can bring Rachel there .

The next stop is Zion hawker , they are so excited to find such nice & cozy food center along the canal especially it deco with nenon light on the tree. Rachel bought a big bowl of prawn soup noodle and Marcos had roti prata, he asked me to shared with them . They also bought me sugar cane drink.  This is their dinner.

Now I knew that they had finally shifted to River valley apartment  , along Alexandra PCN , 15min walk to Redhill MRT station.

The next part of riding is really make them so exciting because the riding down Singspore rivet begin .  Started with Roberston quay, Clarke key and Boat quay. The decorayive light up on the bridges and buzzing cafe & bar, it make the river alive and seem back to pre-covid time.

Also there are so many cyclist these day .

Covid dinner steamboat

The iis not one usual dinner.  Now we have to appreciate such dinner (Dine-in) and with total 5 person in the same table.  This is what I called Covid dinner

For non vaccine person is not allow to enter the shopping mall and dine in the restaurant.

Zixu went to the ARt vaccine test centre and paid $15 for a one time test to obtain 24 hour permit sonthat he can enter all mall and restaurant 

My front tooth

Waking up a few times by dreaming that my front tooth felling off.  About 7+ I finally woke up and my front tooth finally fall off.  Oh it may be bad but us a relief that it had shaking for the past few week.  

Now is time to have a new tooth - I hope so.

West coast ride

Life is simple and beautiful. It is simple like a short ride to Westcoast park with my son, Zixu to watch sunset.

Today Zixu taught me how to use the feature of the phone camera portrait mode.

Finally I have my very first ride with Zeeyee.  The ride is short, starting from our house via Ulu pandan PCN to IMM shopping mall.  But I have great time and appreciate for a rare and long waited father & daughter ride together trip.

We also did wonderful shopping and thanks to zeeyee again, I bought my very first pair of Adidas running shoes since 1997.

58km walk

The 58km walk is much difficult than I thought.  In order to celebrate my 58 year old birthday I

 plan for a walk start from home to Changi and stop at 58km mark .

After lunch stop at least coast beach  I continue the part 2 of my next 30km.walk.

In lifes, we always like to do thing for ourselves but sometimes for others.  This is the day, I will like to do something different ,to  take on the challenge  of walking 58km, the longest walk in my life.

Isaac Birthday 2021

One unusual birthday celebration for Isaac and our family.

First Isaac and the father came back to SG during the Covid pandemic period.  2nd due to rise in number of Covid cases SG enter nation phase 2, no dine in....

Changing Jurassic Mile Ride

At noon , wan drove to Clementi to pick me and zixu back to Bishan.  She made this arrangement to give zixu's English tuition.

In order not to disturb them, I borrowed a folding bike to visit Kevin.

Going came back from work 6+ and we 4, were ready for our Changi Jurassic Mile night ride.

We loaded all 4 bikes into car and drove straight to T2 parked  at open carpark , started our 12km loop ride . 

Father Day

20 May Father Day is a lonely day for me.  My family had planed some outing without me.  No one asking to go along.

A call from Everest

31st March 2021, 1245pm I received an unusual WhatsApp message. 
I regard it as a call from Everest.  I couldn't believe that it is Mr Khoo Swee Chiow text me.

This is all started I told a friend that I want to help to buy and promote his autobiography book.  But I really don't expect my  friend pass my contact to him and he is contacting me direct.

I am pretty excited. I am not really Mr Khoo follower but i am a big fan of Everest.  So being a!Lento meet a man successfully climed Everest 3 times is really a big deal.to me .

Riding to Jurong lakeside garden

It's only about 8km ride via PCN to jurong lakeside garden but surely one exciting trip.for Zixu and myself.

Because he is riding together with my friends. All experience rider and for a junior rider Zixu, he must be feeling overwhelmed. 

I think.this is one memorable trip for us.

2021 Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner

The very first time we have restriction in the number of guest visiting and gathering.  The magic number is 8 發

Also others rule imposed , cannot visit more than 2 family in a single day .

We are celebrating our Chinese New Year during the Covid19 pandemic period , in SF is phase Iii

Well life goes on and wish that the arrival.of vaccination will slow down & kill the virus, this is our faith and hope in year 2021 - everyone 

2021 Feb 1st celebration

7th Feb Sat  are original plan is to celebration friend Anita`s Feb birthday but she requested to give a surprise birthfay celebration to anther friend Ming.  So we plan to meet 0600pm with food at his Tampin3se flat and surprise him.

For me, I am surprised Zeeyee is willing to follow me to join my friend surprise birthday party. I am happy.

In the end, is relax and fun party.

2021 Jan Covid19 5th Celebration

This is the 5th birthday celebration in the first month in year 2021 Covid19.

The condition is 8 person in one table, max 50 , no mingling no cross table socializing , no singing no shouting ,no celebration mod - this is Covid phase 3

Changi Jurassic Mile

A short ride from East coast park carpark G to Changi THE.

It's only 3.6km one way by PCN but the highlight is the newly built in 2019 the Chsngi Jurassic Mile , we can see so many dinosaur along the path.  It will be more interesting to visit in the night with the sound & light effect.

Of course it is perfect to end with a nice meal and coffee in the end of the path at T2.
