Kluang Solo Climb Gunung Lambak

This is my solo summit to Gunung Lmabak!

The hotel Anika security help me to call for an taxi to send me to the foothill of Gunung Lambak (RM 15).  I had my backpack weigh, started the climb with high spirit, fast and steady. I decided to try my best , to clock the best record timing. So i did not make any stop along the trail.

To my own surprise,  I took only 45 min to reach the summit and 30 min to return back to the foothill.
Thank to the past week of training like walking up 40th floor staircase,  situp and cycling, I am in very good fitness condition.

I make one wish - to climb this 500 meter high mountain at least once in a year,  until I can't

Weather is cloudy and still drizzle but we all set to the cemetery to pay parents a respect.
This is the very first time that Zixu is following us to the cemetery.

When i took a picture for him and he immediately show me his no-expression face.  He is saying can not smiled in front of the tomb.

First Korean Charcoal BBQ in Singapore

another reason to celebrate!  7th Apr 2018 Sat evening while driving along West Coast Highway, suddenly there is an heavy downpour.  When we arrived at Westway Ju Shin Jung Korean restaurant,  we were told that the restaurant was full house.  It was a big surprise and great disappointment but,  fortunately,  the young waiter  manage to find us a nice cozy Korean-style flooring table! 

It took a while for the food to server but it was really amazing to see the waiter keep passing us the Korean authentic small plate dishes, it filled up the whole table and i counted 18 plate!

Everyone was so excited.  We have very fun and enjoyable meal.

    

Chestnut Nature Walk

6 Apr 2018 with my buddy Yuan Leong have a wonderful walk at the newly open (last year) Chestnut Nature Park, an extension of Bukit TimahbNature Reserve .
There are actually two trail, the southern trail is 2.1 km loop and the northern trail is about 2 km (not a loop) it can leaf you all the way to Madai or Zhenghwa park.

Kluang Solo Trip March 24 & 25 2018

This is my first solo trip to Kluang.

This is my very first solo kluang by crossing the border by bus  and come back to Singapore by train. 

0720 took bus 170 to the woodland causeway , I followed the main crowd hurried walked to the custom. It took me about 2 hour to clear both Singapore and Malaysia custom , finally came to the Laikin bus terminal . I have only 10min to buy some bread & water after bought the ticket from JB to Kluang. 

12pm noon, I arrived Kluang long distance bus terminal.
