HThis is the day !

Thus is the day start from morning  8+ when I drove to customer office in Changi ! The haze condition seem pretty bad ! I was not expecting it last the whole day and the haze covered every Cornor of the island ! It is like mist when the sun is hiding! It look pretty nice but once you smelled the burn aroma  , you start to wake up and realised that we are in

trouble , it is national disaster!

I took the picture at about 6+ evening , the haze was not getting better!

This is the day that our Ministry of Education make a TV announcement to close all  school tomorrow ! This is a bug decision and does affect most Singaporean, the children and parent!

 

My long ride

This is my long bike ride since year 2000. Started 0700am at Sunset way Park Connector (PCN)

We passed by Queentown, followed Alexandar canal to Singapore river , passed Zion riverside food centre and continue to Roberston Quay, Clark Quay, Boat Quay and finallybarrivedvat Marina Bay Sand , Garden By The Bay! 

After a short rest, we headed to  Tangjong Rhu. This route will passed Marina Barrage , Garden by the bay East , Tanjong Rhu  estate and last stop is Tanjong Rhu  hawker centre.

Total.hour is 7

Changi BBQ

This is an special day and it is worth to remember!

For so many years , we haven't had a beach BBQ in Changi!

Thank to Yoke , cousin back from Canada and a bigger thank to Mollies family for organising such a wonderful outing ! Thank to tommy for most logistic arrangement ! Thank to Desmond for the passion in doing the actual BBQ! 

Last but not least, thank to everyone take the time to come for the gathering !

2nd Aunt Passed Away

Our beloved 2nd aunt passed away on 4-July-2015 Sat 0112 AM hospital

Earthquake Kinabalu

When the earthquake struck Kinabalu last Friday 5-June-2015 , I was not expecting it to be an serious disaster and causing death!

Now my hearts is sink and tear is fell when I reading the latest news updated that a total 13 dead bodies are recovered and 8 are still missing! They are children & teacher from Singapore!

I am now realised that this is an real disaster that hits us here! I am very worrying about the missing as the rescue work is difficult and slow!

For myself and a friend are supposing to climb this 4090 meter high mountain in following 2 week 19-June , it is definite put to suspend!

The mountain is suddenly getting far away ......

Last cable car ride

This is the last day to ride free for the mount Fabre car! My 1-year cable car family membership is expire in the month of May 2015

I am glad that we can make it this evening to catch the last ride before dark ! I am already fascinated about cable car ride and hope I can bring the kids to Hong Kong one day to ride the longest cable car!

Mount Kinabalu is near

Our training is climbing the 40th story stair HDB up & down three times a week!

For my Kk trip , I suppose to climb 2300 m high , it means 29 times up the 40th floor ! But I only did 3 times ..........😥

Perhaps we have to increase to 4 set of up & down climb and 2 times a week training! And may be we should load with 10 kg bag 

The timing for climbing up 40 story is 8 min and another 4+ min to climb down

Visiting Mollies

Last night we visited Mollies and have dinner together ! She cooked one big plate of 意大利面Tom Yam style, enough for 20 people (no kidding) + 3 big pizza , chicken wing , salad soup .....I only bought sunset way chef carrot cake , hope they like it

We are glad that the children have such chance to meet & interact ! Initially , they are shy to talk but after a good dinner , Zee Yee & Rachel start talking in the room , Zi Xu is always a follower!

Lost & Found

Praise the Lord

After more than one month, I finally received a letter from the police Found £ Unclaimed Office to ask me to collect my property! I knew it must be my wallet lost one month ago!

My faith for Mr Nice Guy is never fade! In my heart , I strongly believe someone who pick up my wallet in the Sunset way park connector will return it to me.

The Last Day

This is the last day for our cat, meow meow.  In fact the last person to  see our cat is probably my friend that came to visited me this morning 10+ !  

Only till Zee Yee came honec5 and when she discovered the cat is not moving at the corner , she scream for help !

For the moment, I am shocked 

Lost My Wallet 6-Apr-2015

Lost my wallet (worth $50 gift fr Zee Yee) , 7 card (MRT & ERP card worth $30) , Cash less than $50! But  re do ID & Driving license may cause me $300+ 

I am still hoping the person pick up my wallet will kindly return to me

Punggol Park

After almost 30 year (if remember correctly) , we are back in Punggol point for an seafood dinner ! The mood is good and it just bring us back the 70s & 80s as our big families like to come here for seafood in some special occasion ! It was a long journey at that time , passed thought country side & Wi ding road! The most fun part is all relatives, cousins were  packed Ons school bus, this gave us the best chance to gather together!

Zi Xu first School Holiday

16-March-2015

This is Zi Xu first P1 school term break, one week long holiday! I am excited and long look forward and I am sure Zixu is also happy for stay away from school. This is the time that we should relax and play hard, do outdoor activity!

Today is the 1st day

When I asked Zixu where he wanted to go? His answer is Museum ! I am impressed and thought this is a great place to start with.....

My Penang trip

Wow this is my 8th trip to Penang !

I really love this cozy & laid back island!  Look forward the local street food and wonderful shipping! The only thing worry me is the transport , it is not cheap to travel by taxi ! More over it can be a nightmare to find a taxi on the road !

China cousin JEFF visits

20 to 26th Feb 2015 This year we have Year an unusual Chinese New Year celebration!! Thank to our China cousin JEFF & his family visits ...... 

The 6 day visit is filled with fun, excitement , love and of course the culture shock . This is the very first time that we have Chiba relative to join us the 1traditional chinese new year festival and both side ate having full of joy! Every visit to some if our relatives and every 捞起 meal is an eye-opening to JEFF & his family ! 

For a short 6 day , it will never enough to pack in all the gathering and tourists attraction! Surprisingly , JEFF and family are very easy-going people and they just love our park & library! They spend many hour for the Tree Top Walk , Botanic Garden ! This is wonderful and I will be the best guide to offer the best walk in Singapore. 

Their 8 year old girl , 𧗠䨬 is really bring us fun, laugh and surprise ! I am total impressed with this little girl when she knew that the richest man 马云a and she can even correct me , said he is no longer the no 1 richest man (yea , in year 2014!. 马云 wrath drop to no 2) 

How possible for a Singapore children or youth will know this piece of informations! 

China-Singapore Reunion Dinner

This is my very first Chinese New Year reunion dinner with our China cousin! It is really good to have such rare occasion to fetcher! Never forget that the wonderful delicious dinner all prepare by our cousin , Li Keun ! 👍👍👍 发啦

The Railway Walk

12.5Km 2.5Hr

We started at Tangling Halt hawker centre and finished at Bukit Timah Park HQ! The first park of walk is very leisure & relax , there are many cyclist and jogger! On our return walk , we speed up & dashed to our much-talk about Indian fish curry rice! This meal will cost us 1000 calories  ,  400 higher than our 2.5 hour walk ! 

Next trip will try cycling .

Zi Xu Eczema

The school called us to bring Zi Xu because I'd Eczema , we bought him to poly clinic ! Doctor said the only way is to use a lot of moistures or apply Zyrtec to stop the itches! Every doctor ask to do the sane treatment ! This medicine will help him to sleep thru & no wake up in the middle of the night.

Another reason to haver dinner together

When come to the cake & candle session, Zi Xu keep asking why we only have 1 candle on the cake! He is little frustrated that no one is giving him a right answer!

Walking to School

This is an beautiful day!

The sun is rise on top and we no need to wake up in the dark & rush out early to avoid the traffic.  Zee Yee has plenty of time to dress up , eating bread and writing her daily diary!

A blessing day to start by walking to get school.  More fortunate that she is still walking to school with her good friend!

2015 School Open (Part 2)

This is the day (2-Jan-2015)

0130m Picked up Zee Yee from Beaty Toa Payoh and we went to Lorong 8 Market for our lunch , this is a familiar place to me! May be I am happy to come back to Toa Payoh , the estate that I was grown up.... We stayed in Lorong 7 and at that time, Toa Payoh is an brand new HDB Estate ABD Loring 8 was still the Kampong! 

While on the way back to Clementi, May May called and send us a good news, Clementi Town Secondary School inform us that there is an vacant for Zee Yee and want us to report to the school !

This is amazing and praised the Lord for his great plan for us!

This is the day with double joy , Zee Yee & Zi Xu both studying the school near our home , within 15 min walking distance !

2015 Jan 2nd

The school is open ....

Thus is an amazing day and so many thing happen in a brand new year 2015 !

First , waking up at 6 to report to Zee Yee posted school Beaty Toa Payoh!

The morning journey is smooth, it took us only 30 min to reach Beaty ! We have plenty time to explore the surrounding and it is good to see many students walking to school .

About 1215 , I started driving to Clementi Primary School with Zi Xu , the journey is short but it's took us more than 10 min to park the car & walk to the school !
