IioolkoAnother home visit for our brother Weng & his family 12th to 26th Dec 2014

This is a very short & tiring trip for most of them! But to me , this trip is very meaningfully and rewarding !it is difference as compare to all past trip that we had ! I felt there is a sense of urgency for our family gathering , everybody seem not feeling well and left little time for us to meet! Also I can see the kids, Issac , zee Yee and zion Xu start interacting and it was very happy time for all of us.

Another stressful day

Today is all P6 graduated student reporting to their posted school ! We are excited to come to Beaty Secondary School! It is not because Zee Yee is happy to come to Beaty but it will be very interesting to meet her'cousin Rachel and her Guma!

Last night we went to meet MP session , this is one of our last chance to appeal !

Waited for almost 2 hour to net the MP , he is supportive and draft us a letter to handover to the school!

Suddenly there is hope & motivation 

Back from Hong Kong 15 to 19 Dec

Wan & Weng were back from a short visit to Hong Kong , 15 to 19th Dec 2014!

Both look tired and definite on the good condition.

P6 School Posting Result

The first phone ring early morning ,  Li Hong called to ask the school posting for Zee Yee ! But everyone still in the sleep ....   When Zee Yee later check her mobile phone incoming text message, she shouted loudly that she was posted to Beaty Secondary School , the No 5th choice ! This is really a big surprise  and at the same time, we were told that here's cousin Rachel also posted to Beaty! 

Three cousins

This is the first gather of the year 2014 for the three cousins! It will be no easy for Issac to come back all the way from America to meet Zee Yee & Zi Xu!

Zi Xu keep saying that he want Issac to be his brother , something that I hope that he will continue to do so.....

Departure to Hong Kong

1030am Wan & Weng are departure at Changi terminal 2 , they are heading to Hong Kong for 5 day short visit !

Today marked an important day for all Primary 6 children ! This is the day long waiting , this is the day for their 6 lunar hardworking, this is the day to determine their next 4 years lifestyle !

Today they will find out the result if the P.S.L.E.

Another 50's Celebration

These day , when I look around people that I know, it is not difficult to find someone is into 50s or near 50s!

Last night, 6 of us gather together and celebrate our friend, Tian Leong for his 50's Birthday.

My iPhone 4S

Yesterday I had a bad experience that drop my iPhone while in a rush to the car (rain) when I realised I lost my iPhone , First I use a spare phone to call , it does ring but no pickup , this show that my phone is still in operation 2nd I try to access to www.icloud.con to track my iPhone location , this us where took me the longer time , oop I am not able to log into this site in a Androud-phone browser .....3rd u have to call for an Internet expert , Desmond  to log into my iCloud account . Oh the GPS if my iPhone us still function (phone is not shut down) with all these information , I am quite sure my iPhone us still in good shape , 4th I went to mall customer to file a report ! 10min later , the customer lady called me and I sense that this is good news , she said a young couple return my lost phone ! Thanks God , it is not natter if my old iPhone worth not more than $200 but it is the last few week of data like some note, picture and contact has not backup! This is a good lesson for us to BAVKUP the phone and remember Ro screen lock your phone

This is the most important week in the past 6 year- THe PSLE for Zee Yee and everyone in the house is excited. For My 6 year old bit is exception, he will experience it 6 year later!

An Outdoor day for Zi Xu

This is another long outdoor day for Zi Xu! First started with breakfast with gu ma & gu jie at ang mo kio hawker.

After a heavy breakfast , we drove straight to Upper pierce reservoir to look for wild monkey,  we have no difficulty to spot many monkey along the curving road before arrival to the visitor car park of the reservoir ! Thanks God that we have a wonderful weather and is best timing to walk ! We spend some time to explore the park and Zi Xu is excited to walk near to the water! 

We continue for our short boardwalk started at the entry point at the old upper Thomson road , near the famous prata shop , the walk is only last about 20 min but it bring you through the central water catchment and you see one of the most beautiful sites of the island ! This is definite a 5-star trail . Soon we came to the lower pierce reservoir , another quite park , then it took us another 15 min to walk back to our staring point. 

The walk is easy and very suitable for family and even old folk can take their time to complete the trail is estimate an hour .

The journey is the destination 

An Day-Off For Zi Xu

Thank to the teacher day , Zi Xu had an day-off , he no need to go to school and having great fun with his dad 

 

First , he is following gu jie method to eat his wholw chicken wing using his hand! Frankly , it is not an easy task for him. Normally , parent will not the kids to  stop using the bare hands. The standard reason are messy , hygienic matter or worrying the chicken bone ....in the end they lost half the fun for eating the chicken wing!

Next he took out his shoes and jump into the Ikea bed and pretending to sleep at his own bed. WOW , this boy know how to relax

Zee Yee 12th Birthday

Yesterday, 27 July 2014 is Zee Yee's 12th year old birthday!

Ye Win

The last time we net is year 2008 and finally my Myanmar friend Ye Win is back to visit Singapore! 

Today I have a good time with my old friend! I have specially plan these visits....

First I pick him up at his Chua Chu Kang flat ABD we drive all the wY to Sultan Mosque, Kampung Glam area, we go for the very traditional tea stall , I can ensure you this is unique and u never another one in Singapore . Ye Win like the mould tea , it is like most Burmese are drinking !

He also like the Kampung Glam area and very impressed with the mosque and surrounding shop house and restaurant!

I always enjoy bringing visitors to this place !

Then we move on ABD drive around downtown, suddenly Ye Win had this request , want to buy 4D for his friend, this is challenging ! Now is 0530  and I have only 30 min to find the lottery booth, driving along North bridges , pass Maxwell market , finally  I remembered this small HDB estate Duxton ABD is lucky we found the lottery shop and place the bet in very last minutes , almost 6 the closing time! 

Next, as we are near Mount Faber, I thought this is the perfect time and sve to go up to the cozy hill and have a great look at the scenary ! We can not resist Ti took a cable car ride to see the panorama view of the lovely Sentosa island , this is an return ride! Ye Win us very enjoy and keep taking pictures from his mobile phone and tablet 

Tanjung Puteri Golf Resort

25-June-2014 7pm arrived at the seafood restaurant, the coastal of  Johore Bahru Pasir Gudang Industrial Estate! Our journey start from Jusco Permad and is about 20km drive and finally got to passed through Tanjung Puteri Golf Resort , the lady part of few km is riding on very poor co diction road!

It is considering a long drive!

But it is all worth it when come to live seafood with "cheap price" compare back home in Singapore. Please don expect luxury deco restaurant & there isn't many choices of dishes.  

4th Climb Gunung Lambak

May-14-2014 I did my 4th climb of Gunung Lambak, a 510m peak at Kluang Johore Malaysia! But it is not for any easy -walk that you might expect to do it at the park! The weather is wet and make it a little danger when you are descent. 

We finally did the twin peak climb , spend almost 3.5 hour to complete. This is a little fast pace!

My Bangkok Trip May 2014

My Bangkok trip 15 to 18 May 2014

This is my first meal st the old airport, the instant noodle B70 ($2.80) and coffee B90 ($3.80)!

The weather is sunny , 36 deg hot like oven & I don expect it can be so hot as compare to Singapore weather.

Zi Xu is sending me off at Changi airport T1 on 15-May-2014 for my Bangkok trip 15 - 18th May!

Hong Kong Visits 14 to 21 Apr 2014

This is the first visits after 14 years , it is a long time !

I love Hong Kong start from my first time visit in 1986 and this has not change ! I don know why , but just fall in love with this busy, noisy & buzzy place! There is always the mix feeling to travel in Hong Kong! The hotel is extraordinary expensive , the streets is full of crowds the people are smart but cZn be rude , the building is modern but some are horrific old & thirty ... but this is Hong Kong , it's never change so much and I still like Hong Kong!

Cable Car Ride

After talking for months , yesterday we finally went for the 40th anniversary celebration promotion ride , Singapore Cable Car is giving 40% ticket discount for all Singaporean! Make sense ?

Any way, we had not have the ride for more than 10 years, this is an great chance to do it!

But instead of buying the discount ticket, I bought one fame package membership for 1 year at $99 , this will allow my family of 4 for the unlimited cable car ride to Sentosa ! This is cool

The ride from mount Faber to Sentosa is 12 min +

Lugguge

Big sister us offering me her big box-type lugguge for my up coming Hong Kong trip! Suddenly I remembered my favourite  backpack , it has followed me all most all my past travelled trip! We had been together to the wild, mountain and many unusual panacea, it is my mist royal travel buddy ! 

Hey buddy, I will bring you along to visit Hong Kobg, the last visited was year 2000! 

Zee Yee meet here's two princes

This is an excited day for Zee Yee! She meet here's two TCS actor at our Clementi canal bridge! 

The small group of TCS production team are doing some filming at the bridge! We had to wait patiently for the two to complete the best shot ! It's noon hour and weather is hot, many "NG" for a one-minute shoot ! And before they move on for the second shoot, I bdly request  to take a picture with the two actor with my little princess , she is just a little girl and does not causing much trouble! The crew are friendly and all waiting for me to snap a picture from my iPhone? I even ask for their autograph on zee yee notebook !

After all , who are these two young handsome actor ? Only zee yee k ow, she is big RCS fan!

Canton Cousin

Last night dinner at Balestier Boob Tong Kee Chicken Rice Restaurant is an wonderful meeting with long lost cousin!

I find it is amazing that we cousin's can meet together after 51 year !
